1) U.S. President Donald Trump has demanded that famed Ivy League educational institution Harvard University return an $8.6 million stimulus package that it received in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. “Harvard should give back the money now. Their whole ‘endowment’ system should be looked at!” Trump said in a tweet posted late Tuesday. Harvard University, which has a $40 billion endowment, has rejected Trump's demand and said that the aid will go towards students “facing urgent financial needs due to the COVID-19 pandemic”. 5) Daniela Rus, the director of MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), has been selected as a member of the U.S. President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST). Rus is the deputy dean of research for the MIT Stephen A.
