Nigeria Reports 204 News Cases Of Coronavirus

In a late night Thursday tweet, the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that 204 new cases of the coronavirus has been confirmed in Nigeria, the majority of such cases coming from Lagos, Gombe, and Kano, where unexpected and mysterious deaths have been recorded as of late. 80 out of the 204 newly confirmed cases come from Kano while 45 comes from Lagos and 12 from Gombe. Other states such as Oyo, Delta, Edo, Kebbi, Ondo, and FCT, Nigeria's capital, have recorded much smaller number of cases.

Altogether, more than 1,900 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria. Out of that number, 319 have been discharged, while 58 have died.
