Mary Trump, a niece of US President Donald Trump, has called for the President's resignation from his post. "Resign," she replied in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos after being asked what she would say if she were to hypothetically visit the President in the Oval Office today. Mary Trump's message comes on the heels of the release of her book, "Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man," a book where she gives a blistering criticism of the US President. In the book, she accused Trump of being a "sociopath" and stipulates that his "hubris and willful ignorance" dating back to his early days threatens the US.

In the ABC interview with Stephanopoulos, Mary Trump stood by a claim that Donald Trump paid someone to take SAT tests for him to help him get into college, a claim the White House has denied. She, however, acknowledged that she can't prove the identity of the supposed person who is said to have taken the SAT tests for Trump.

Donald Trump hasn't immediately commented on his niece's interview with ABC. Last week, the White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany termed Mary Trump's book as a "book of falsehoods."
