Saudi Arabia Records Over 1,400 New Coronavirus Cases [Brief]

Saudi Arabia has announced that it recorded 1,400 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, the 15th of August. The cases were recorded across major cities including Jeddah, Riyadh, Jazan, Makkah, and Dammam. Even as new cases were recorded, Saudi Arabia reported of more than 1,500 patient recoveries. Altogether, nearly 300,000 cases have been confirmed in the country. Out of that number, 263 thousand are recorded to have recovered while more than 3,000 have died.

Globally, over 21 million cases have been recorded, with nearly 800,000 deaths.
